Like looking at your child for the very first time.
Like riding a roller coaster with endless drops…

When I read the title Love is.....my first response was 'patient and kind' but I took a moment to think of how I really feel when I love. I thought of the goose bumps that take over my body from the top of my head to the sole of my dancing feet. However even in my adult years, I get this feeling of butterflies in my stomach but at times it feels more like one huge butterfly that only needs to flap its wings once to sore. So when this butterfly can go anywhere b/c its reached the top of my stomach presses down again to get a great start/push off. This stinking butterfly is determined to leave my body, but doesn't realize that she's stuck with me. I'm the mama! lol
Another way to describe one of my feelings of love, is when you're riding a roller coaster and you take that first deep steel force drop! The way my stomach drops is the way I feel about the one I love. A steel force kind of love! So if you haven't guessed it already, My contribution to this poem is:
