Oh Baby! Diaper Cakes

Over the past year or so, I've been quite busy, with a FEW things. Apparently others have been "busy" too if you catch my drift *wink* wink*!

Among the many things that keep me busy, I have been digging deep into my crafty side. I have always been handy and slighty crafty, but the 2010's has brought a new side out of me. I love every bit of it and I'm excited for where God is taking me.

I can't remember where or when I saw my first tradition diaper cake ( traditional diaper cake: a creation made up of rolled up diapers that resembles an actual cake) and maybe that's because I hadn't been to a baby shower in a few years. I do, however remember driving to work one day, and seeing someone carry an obvious baby shower gift to their car. I saw a tricycle with a teddy bear with bows and other things associated with babies. This was wrapped up in plastic, so pretty that you wouldn't want to unwrap the beauty.

I automatically said, I have to find out what that was, and how can I make one like it. So of course, when I got to work, I totally googled it and found so many variations of diaper cakes with tutorials and more. That is when the monster was created! I've made traditional round diaper cakes, tricycles, four wheelers, bassinets, diaper babies, stork diaper contraptions, lol, and when people start having babies and invite me to their showers, I will make more and more of the diaper cakes that can be made.

I wanted to show you what I have done so far and I hope you enjoy:
I try to always take pictures as I create so that you can see the process of my creations. please comment and let me know what you think.

I hope you enjoyed the pics, if you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
